"It was quite different, original in telling the love story between two people who meet accidentally but find a true romantic connection. Is there drama, well yes, but that's why I read romance to see how the H/HH muddle through the mess they may cause or others do and come out with a happily ever after. Multicultural, funny and sad too because hearts are hurt but in time you get a satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed reading Ms. Hall's story and really appreciate that she wrote a satisfying ending. The hero was too delicious, thoroughly fell for him if his stuff was jacked up, after you learn the story you go totally get it, very human and very well told story. I was entertained.

"Sandra Hall you are a wonderful author. This is what you call a love story. It is hard to make me cry and you made me cry. The love he had for her is amazing. Such a wonderful book to read. Just love it!!"
An hour later we were at the lake among campers, and people out on the lake having boating fun. Benjamin and I found a nice spot in the grass and spread a big blanket out with cushions for comfort. We had folding chairs too.Benjamin set up a grill and put on a couple of burgers for us. By the time they were done and put together, I was ravenous. I could’ve ate two burgers. “Want to go on the lake?” he asked rolling over beside me. “Nope,” I replied. “Getting in a boat requires more energy than I have right now.” “You still want to braid my hair sometime for me?” “Sure.” I responded to the husky tone in his voice by opening my eyes. His face was close enough to kiss me. His fingers crawled under my tank top to fondle my breasts. My breath caught at the boldness of his actions. “I love touching your body,” he said brushing his lips over my face. “I love your hands. The first time we touched hands I felt how warm you are.” “Nobody ever told me that before.” “Maybe only I can feel it.”
Another great book by Sandra Hall. Fine Lines was a very entertaining read I was drawn in from the first page. This authors writing style is always refreshing and witty. Each character held their own in this story without taking the other's shine. My favorite was in fact Anthony James. That man could do no wrong in my eyes, period. Eartha needed a backbone & Vivian, well, you have to read it for yourself to find out just how good it is. I highly recommend this book to all women who enjoy genres other then urban or street lit. I'm a fan for life Ms. Hall!
All the lines were blurred.... BUT I enjoyed them all, April 30, 2015 By Ms. Book LovaVerified PurchaseThis review is from: Fine Lines (Kindle Edition)
This was the first book I have read by this artist and I really enjoyed it. Eartha ..... LOL.. you just have to love that name. She at times really got on my nerves but in the end I was in love with her character. I absolutely loved Anthony and his persistence. I think they were very happy when they didn't involve others or listened to others. Clint. LOL.... that's all I have for him. Viv and Harvey. wish them the best in their marriage. All in all this was a good book that I really enjoyed reading.
Cheap Red Wine, a wonderful read! When I purchased this book, I first thought that I was going to be a huge fan of Bette's because she initially drew me in. However, halfway through the story, I found myself feeling sorry for Grace, who was clearly in need of some TLC.
This book has a little bit everything in it. If you're not a fan of erotic scenes, like myself, you'll be glad to know that the author doesn't abruptly throw you into the scenes. I was grateful for that, as it gave me enough warning so that I could skip those parts. I loved the twist in the middle of the book, involving Jackson, his father, Jamal, and his butler! There is a brief mention about Bette's parentage that I would have liked to see the author explore more of; however, not exploring it certainly did not take away from the storyline at all!
For a debut novel, Sandra Hall came out swinging and she managed to hit a home run! I would definitely recommend this book. I'm looking forward to reading more stories in this genre (contemporary fiction) from this author. Great job, Sandra Hall!
So when I started this book I was team Bette all the way ready to slap grace feeling bad for Jackson.... Until about 40% into the book that's when everybody started getting crazy ms.hall had me feeling like I was there with them had me ready to cuss people out shake some sense into Bette beat her sister Alice and grace up. This book seriously had me going I stay up until 3 am just to finish it it a day I had that book done in like 6 hrs I could not put it down I'm happy with the ending too it had me nervous for a min. There but this is a must read book.
